Who this suits, and who it does not

We work best with sign shops, shopfitters, signage contractors, and builders who need repeatable parts cut from ACM, acrylic, timber or foam for retail, corporate, industrial, or municipal install work. Our bay is set up for production intent, so if you have a technical drawing, sketch, or marked-up photo, we can cut at scale. If your crew needs tight edge finishes for vinyl, digital print, or direct-mount installs, you'll see the benefit in fewer returns and less on-site trimming.

We are not a match if you want single, artistic showpieces with hand-textured edges, or if you need in-field fixing and lighting supplied. We do not design logos or visual layouts. Our team prepares physical parts to your spec and sends them ready for your install crew or shop floor.

How the process works in South African shops

Every signage and façade job begins with your drawing or photo and a quick checklist. We match the machine, speed and tool path to your constraints, think ACM with brushed faces, timber with visible grain, or acrylic to take digital print. Edge finish and film direction get a check before the cut. We plan nests with Highveld dust, Gauteng haulage, or coastal humidity in mind.

If your install is in Bloemfontein or Gqeberha, tell us how panels reach the site, some routes need extra wrapping or quick-release protection. Special rules or access at listed sites (Stellenbosch and Kimberley stand out) change how we label and pack. Our Isando nest bay tracks notes from each job, so when your follow-up comes, we still have the constraints at hand.

Worked example: ACM sign faces for a Gauteng retail rollout

A national sign contractor sent us a marked-up plan and two photos showing their ACM cladding for a retail branch in the East Rand. They specified 2400 mm x 1200 mm panels, with film direction to match their vinyl branding. Their install crew worked staggered shifts, dealing with occasional Eskom outages, so every panel arrived edge-ready, film-on, and labelled for each room. The constraint was a non-square brick corner and tolerance for field caulk. When their install timeline shifted mid-week, we raised the pack order question early (store room first, then façade) to avoid delays at handoff.

All finish and labelling details were confirmed by checklist before spindle hours began. The result: panel faces that fit with minimal trimming, reducing returns and time in the parking lot. No need for another drive from Germiston out to site.

Checklist to prepare before you email us

Set yourself up for a clean handoff. Please pull together the following before you mail our contact form. If something is not final, mark it 'uncertain' and we will check it with you.

The clearer your spec at the start, the fewer surprises on site.

Pitfalls and how we solve for them

Signage and façade work pulls in a mix of stakeholders, from architects to property managers and busy site teams. Common pitfalls include missing handover notes, unmarked changes to drawing sets, and surprises with municipal or building management. We talk in checklists and plain constraints, not in slogans, so every handoff is documented and every change is marked by owner and date.

If your job has access quirks, say, a Polokwane shopping centre with overnight load-in or Kimberley heritage rules, call it out early. Vague advice at the start can waste a week or trigger a rush fee. Our team keeps an internal note if something goes wrong, so we do not repeat last time's miss for your next brief.

For edge cases, or if your scope changes, browse related Exhibition stands or Kitchen manufacturers for adjacent materials, or see our Finishes list. If you need support beyond face-cutting, just flag it. We prefer a simple question to a complicated fix.
