Cut2Shape has launched a partner programme for South African distributors and TVET colleges. This update expands access to CNC profiling and practical training materials nationwide.
Send pressSouth African manufacturers and educators often tell us it is tough to source ready-cut sheet goods and production-ready parts for hands-on training and resale. Most months, training centres and suppliers in places like Polokwane, Bloemfontein or Durban deal with high transport costs, missed schedules and the wrong materials turning up at the wrong sizes. Our team saw that linking with regional distributors and TVET colleges could cut down delays, spread accurate information, and help more workshops stick to delivery dates.
The new programme is designed directly in response to these real-world bottlenecks. Now, partners can organise batch CNC profiling, get hands-on advice about finishes, and depend on our Germiston floor to supply materials that match local requirements, whether you are up against coastal humidity or Highveld dust.
We invite distributors who supply sheet goods, fastenings or workshop consumables to sign up for the partner programme. If your company delivers to industrial parks, school workshops or municipal training centres, this programme is built for you. TVET colleges and skills development providers that include practical manufacturing modules in their curriculum are also eligible.
Partners do not need to meet a minimum monthly order. What matters to us is the ability to pass on clear specs, handle municipal or SARS paperwork when necessary, and share feedback so we can support your technical teams at pace.
Partners can email a drawing, Bill of Materials, or a simple list of parts through our contact form. Our operators send back a clear spec sheet so you confirm profile details, hole placements, and material types before a spindle hour starts. This means your training modules or resale stock arrive ready for the next operation, not stuck awaiting an extra afternoon’s cleanup on the bench.
For TVETs, we supply parts nested for efficient use, labelled by module or workshop, and with advice about finishes that survive local wear. Distributors can offer these same services to their customers, building a reputation for tight tolerances and reliable delivery in their area.
Access to the programme means less downtime and more accurate outputs for everyone involved. Training centres gain a direct channel for ordering custom sheet parts, so learners spend time assembling, not hand-sawing stock or chasing lost orders. Distributors can now source parts with the same tolerances that Gauteng or Cape manufacturers expect, regardless of their own in-house capacity.
We have seen most partners reduce project overruns and benefit from clearer communication with their own customers. Our machines keep to profiles even on tight curves or large batch runs. Your teams see better repeatability from the first batch onwards.
There is no online application form or minimum spend. Interested distributors and TVET colleges can send a message through our contact form with a short outline of their needs, usual materials handled and which province or workshop they represent. Our team will arrange a phone call or in-person visit (where practical) to go through the details and explain the next steps.
Once set up, partners receive catalogues, technical resources and direct support from our Germiston office. You are also welcome to explore resources and projects for ideas or case studies before getting in touch.
Over the coming months, we will share updates and profiles of current partners through our press and blog pages. If your team or college needs ready-cut parts, CNC profiling, or help with technical drawings, we encourage you to reach out.
For any questions about the partner programme, or to book a site tour in Germiston, send a message through our contact form. Media enquiries can go to the media contact channel.
